Progress Kids GOLD
For more than five decades, Pfizer has been partnering with parents, paediatricians and other child-health professionals in the region and worldwide to improve child nutrition by developing milk products that help toddlers get the nutrition they need for healthy growth and development.
Pfizer does this by always advancing its knowledge and research into child nutrition and transforming that knowledge into products that are fortified with the most complete balance of vitamins, minerals and nutrients that growing children need.
As children aged 3-6 undergo significant motor, physical, cognitive, intellectual and social developments that are crucial for later years of life. A variety of edutainment games are available to challenge young minds, alongside face painting, drawing activities, competitions, a soft toy play area and the opportunity for toddlers to have their picture taken with Goldie the Lion – the friendly Progress Gold mascot. The Progress Zone also offers a convenient way for mothers to join the Pfizer Gold Careline Online Club.
During the Mother, Baby & Child Show, the Pfizer Progress Zone will feature the enhanced formulation of Progress Gold, now fortified with lutein, is important for eye health in young children.
Lutein is thought to act as a filter to protect the eyes from high-energy blue light and by attacking the free radicals that can develop in a toddler’s eyes as a result of blue light.
Leafy green vegetables such as spinach and kale are good sources of lutein, while peas, broccoli and carrots also contain the antioxidant. However, these are rarely a toddler’s favourite food, so by offering Progress Gold, parents can be sure their child is getting a full supply of lutein.
